Somabotics Associate Professor Maria Elena Giannaccini and PhD researcher Charles Kaune are developing an innovative soft robotic wearable device designed to support upper limb rehabilitation. The technology aims to provide enhanced assistance and feedback during rehabilitation to help to improve patient outcomes and recovery experiences.

Maria Elena will be showcasing the wearable device at the RehabTech Together event on 16 September, where visitors will have the opportunity to see the technology in action and learn more about its potential in rehabilitation and assistive healthcare.
