As part of the event, Helen demonstrated the latest iteration of Feng Zhou’s Soma Skins Toolkit which enables pre-programmed tactile touch sequences that AI interprets and responds through actuation.

The demonstration showcased the Fellowship’s ongoing research exploring textiles, embodied interaction, artificial intelligence, and soft robotics, highlighting the potential for touch-based communication and responsive wearable technologies in future human-machine interactions.
