We are welcoming colleagues from our artist partners Blast Theory to Nottingham this week, as work continues on the development of the first Facial Rover prototype.

During the visit, the team will be collaborating closely to complete the final build phase and undertake a series of tests ahead of the prototype’s first public presentation next month. This marks an important milestone in the project and brings together artistic innovation and research exploring new forms of interaction between people and emerging technologies.

The visit provides an opportunity for researchers, artists and technical specialists to work side by side, refining technical and experiential aspects of the installation before it is introduced to public audiences.
