We are delighted to support our partners Makers of Imaginary Worlds, colleagues from the Cobot Maker Space and Ashfield Creates in hosting meet and interact sessions with the The Ring Master – the newest robot to join the Thingamabobas troup and a Build-a-Bot Workshop.

Thingamabobas is a playful, sensory experience for the whole family. Meet and interact with a circus troupe of bizarrely wonderful machines created to inspire, delight and intrigue. The work combines robotics, found objects, and sensing technology, and is inspired by circus performers such as acrobats, trapeze artists, tightrope walkers, jugglers, and unicyclists.

Venue :Ashfield Creatives, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottingham

Dates: 30th October through to the 1st of November

Entry is free, but booking is required 

Each visit runs in 45-minute slots. We encourage everyone to arrive within your allocated time, but don’t worry if you’re running a little late—we’ll do our best to fit you in. If it’s busy, we may just ask you to wait briefly indoors until space opens up.

Please note: all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times.
